One of our favorite stories

For years I had been looking for my birth father. I had never met him and as far as I knew, he didn't even know I existed. My mother, on her deathbed, gave me all the information that she knew about my father. Soon after she passed away, my wonderful stepfather told me that I needed to find my birth father. I gave the information my mother gave me to Tina at Investigator Location Services. All we had was a first and last name, that he lived in St. Charles, Missouri in 1970, used to work at a lighting factory at that time, had a sister named Linda and an approximate age range.

Tina somehow found a name currently located in Arkansas but had a Missouri SSN and eventually found an ex-wife that gave us my father's current phone number. Tina called the man and asked him a series of questions to see if he was the same person that we were trying to locate and in fact, he was. Tina arranged for us to meet the very next day...which happened to be my birthday.  Tina and I drove to Arkansas about 3 1/2 hours and we met for the first time. My birth father was waiting for me with a cake that said Happy Birthday Son! We have stayed in touch every since.
